Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy sessions are one on one 50 minute sessions. In our work together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, build on your strengths, and identify tangible strategies for meaningful growth. Tailored to your unique needs and goals, I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is helpful for identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) focuses on building skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. It’s especially supportive for people who feel emotions intensely, struggle with impulsivity, or want tools to navigate conflict and overwhelming feelings.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is helpful for people who feel stuck in their thoughts or emotions, or caught up in situations they cannot fully control. It is also helpful for those who struggle with avoidance patterns or want to build a stronger sense of purpose. By focusing on acceptance and values-based action, it helps individuals respond more flexibly to challenges and create a more meaningful, engaged life.

Problem-Focused Therapy (PFT) helps a person directly address the stressor. It’s useful for developing clear strategies such as identifying the root of a problem, brainstorming solutions, evaluating options, and creating an action plan.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) centers on a person’s strengths, resources, and future goals. SFT is a structured, goal-oriented approach that highlights what’s already working and helps move toward meaningful change.
