Substance Use and Addiction Therapy

Online Individual Therapy sessions are one on one 50 minute sessions.

Who This Service Is For: Addiction Recovery at Any Stage

Support is available for adults navigating recovery from substance use disorders at any stage of the recovery process. Some clients come to therapy after completing residential treatment, PHP, or IOP, while others are beginning their sobriety journey for the first time, exploring their relationship with substances, or working toward building a more stable and sustainable recovery without prior treatment. Whether you are newly sober, returning to recovery, or maintaining long-term sobriety, addiction therapy can provide accountability, structure, emotional support, and practical tools to help protect and strengthen your recovery.

What We Work On in Sessions

Therapy focuses on helping clients strengthen the foundation of their recovery while developing healthier and more sustainable coping strategies. Sessions may include identifying relapse warning signs, creating relapse prevention plans, building sober support systems, strengthening communication and boundary-setting skills, and learning practical tools to manage stress, emotions, cravings, and triggers.

Exploring the Root Causes of Addiction

Addiction and substance use often develop as a way of coping with emotional pain, trauma, overwhelming feelings, or difficult life experiences. In addition to supporting present-day recovery, we may also explore underlying patterns, earlier relationships, and past experiences to better understand how addiction became a coping strategy and how to begin creating healthier ways of caring for yourself.
